Saturday, October 2, the Community Empowerment Taskforce of the Virginia Beach Council of Civic Organizations will hold the 2010 Virginia Beach Neighborhood
Conference from 10AM-2PM at the Meyera Oberndorf Central Library. Plans are underway to provide you with informational workshops that will focus on community empowerment for community advocacy—providing neighborhood leaders with the right tools and information so they can effectively garner support for their neighborhoods. We hope this conference will help take that idea even further to get you excited about what we can collectively do for Virginia Beach neighborhoods.
Imagine what we, as neighborhood leaders, could accomplish together for all Virginia Beach neighborhoods if we work together!
The conference is FREE and open to the public.
